It’s Christmas time at the fast and undulating 3.93km, 22 corner East Circuit at the Bend Motorsport Park!

As ever, our day has NO groups and NO sessions. For this special Openpitlane Australia Christmas Party, we cap our numbers at two thirds of our already extremely low entry limit; giving you plenty of space on track in a group of like-minded individuals committed to honing their craft.

We’ve also brought in Master Chef Justin Markos of Utopia Waterfall Gulley and Glanville Hall fame, to look after your gastronomic needs across the day. This year, we close off the pit lane and bring in a giant wood oven on a horse float - delivering you hot, fresh, traditional pizzas for lunch right in the pits! As ever, the full package of offerings - 6 hours of Limitless Laps track time in the celebrated Openpitlane Australia format, gourmet lunch, and all day snacks and cold drinks- are more than the sum of their parts and a very special experience.

You’ll be mixing it with a combination of high performance sports cars taking their family and friends for high speed thrills, hot hatches with bantering mates, as well as race teams finishing off their season with some charity and sponsor rides. We love all kinds of machinery!

What you will need at Openpitlane Australia events:

• Awareness of yourself, your machine, and your surroundings.

• A “live and let live” attitude - every one on track has an equal right to enjoy themselves regardless of their car performance, speed, or experience.

• The ability to listen, absorb and respond to officials’ directions.

• A full tank and healthy car - limitless laps means you’ll want good condition tyres and brakes!

• Not mandatory but recommended - a fire extinguisher and tow hook pre-fitted.

If you have a friend or partner and you’re attending together, consider booking a two driver entry. You’ll enjoy the same off-track benefits, but share your track time between the two drivers, and you can each bring your own car if you wish.

• 6 hours of tracktime on the highly technical 22 corner, 3.93km East circuit with NO groups and NO sessions

• Add an additional driver for just $200 and share your track time

• Driver training 1 hour package - includes 2 “in car” sessions with a dedicated performance coach, plus an out-of-car debrief.** Data training coming soon!

Our unapologetic approach:

Openpitlane Australia is a “no hoons” event. We craft events that encourage like-minded enthusiasts, committed to honing their craft in a safe and inclusive environment. We don’t belittle entrants by judging and grouping them by their car badge, engine performance or race class. We also welcome those new to circuit motorsport - we all started somewhere.

We brief extensively about what to expect each event - the kinds of machines you’ll be sharing the track with, circuit and weather conditions, and how to show respect and courtesy to all track users. You will be sharing the track with everything from a Hyundai Getz to hypercars, cup cars, and prototypes. Your safety relies on self-awareness, mutual respect, and judicious use of your mirrors!

* Drivers and Passengers must be 14+ years old, occupy a seat, wear a seatbelt and require helmets and full length clothing. U18s please do NOT complete the digital waivers, you will need to complete one together with an adult guardian on the day. One passenger per vehicle at a time.

** 5 performance driver training slots available at this event. The package is comprised of the following:

- 20-25 mins in of in-car training in the AM

- 5 minute quick debrief over lunch

- 20-25 mins of in-car review in the PM

(Please be aware times are approximate; drivers must be available at their scheduled time or your session may be shortened or forfeited. As with all track events, unforseen red/yellow flags and other track distruptions count towards your total package time.)

*** AASA General Speed annual licences required for all drivers. AASA annual licences can be purchased online without car club membership. Day licences are acceptable, but must be pre-ordered via the AASA website. NO licences are available on the day.
